For this project, I conducted a Life Cycle Analysis (LCA) on a Target lamp to evaluate its environmental impact. Applying the Okala Eco-Design Strategy, I identified opportunities for improvement and redesigned the lamp to enhance both its performance and sustainability. I used primary and secondary research to align the redesign with user needs and preferences, resulting in a more sustainable option that considered material extraction, the design phase, and extended usage. This approach was informed by in-depth user research, focusing on trends and user desires.
